Evanston has a few decent restaurants for a nice brunch on relaxing weekends. Vive la Crepe should be on the top of the list. The crepes they serve don’t really seem to be authentic French dishes but they are amazingly tasty. The cozy atmosphere with unique pictures on the wall and friendly servers make you feel comfortable and help you enjoy the experience.
Their dessert crepes are really worth trying. Bananas Foster Crepe with vanilla-bean ice cream — it’s my favorite. This place is not just for crepes though. You can have omelets, eggs benedict, salad, sandwiches, and even various kinds of wine from France and California too.
